1. Disclosure of behavior. I certify that I have truthfully disclosed any history of biting, snapping, lunging, resource guarding, leash reactivity, fear aggression, separation anxiety, or prior incidents involving people or other animals. I understand that undisclosed aggression that results in injury to a handler, another animal, or property will trigger the bite/incident fee, forfeits future bookings, and may be reported to local animal control as required by law.
2. Health & vaccinations. My dog is current on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella, and I will provide proof on request. My dog is not currently showing signs of contagious illness (kennel cough, parvo, ringworm, active fleas/ticks, diarrhea, vomiting) and is not in heat. I will disclose any chronic conditions, recent surgeries, seizures, heart/respiratory issues, hip/joint problems, or medications.
3. Assumption of risk. I understand that exercise, handling, transport, and bathing carry inherent risks including but not limited to slips, strains, cuts, stress, heat sensitivity, water in ears, allergic reactions, and aggravation of pre-existing or hidden conditions. I assume all such risks on my dog's behalf.
4. Emergency veterinary care. If my dog is injured or becomes ill during service and I cannot be reached within a reasonable time, I authorize Washington's Dog Runners to seek emergency veterinary care at the nearest available clinic at my sole expense. I agree to reimburse all veterinary, transport, and related costs.
5. Right of refusal. Washington's Dog Runners may refuse, pause, or end service at any time — including on arrival — if a dog is unsafe to handle, visibly ill, in heat, or if the pickup/drop-off environment is unsafe for our team. The booking fee is non-refundable in those cases.
6. Add-on, no-show & abandoned-dog fees. I acknowledge the published add-on fee schedule and policies — including large/extra-large dog, long hair, de-matting, flea/tick bath, excessive dirt, aggressive handling, in-bus soiling, no-show/late-cancel (under 12 hours), and abandoned-dog holding fees — and authorize the card on file to be charged for any add-ons performed after I am notified.
7. Photos & marketing. I grant Washington's Dog Runners permission to take photos and short video of my dog during service and to use them for marketing and social media. I may opt out in writing at any time.
8. Release & indemnification. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Washington's Dog Runners, its owners, employees, and contractors from any and all claims, damages, or liability arising from service, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. I agree to indemnify the company for any damage or injury caused by my dog to handlers, other animals, vehicles, or property.
9. Confirmation & cancellation. All bookings require admin confirmation before they are final. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled slot are billed as a no-show.
